Project Overview: Leverage PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, improve decision-making and enhance data visibility for stakeholders.
Role: As a Power BI developer at Northern Trust, your primary role will be to deliver business intelligence services, lead BI software development, and present Power BI reports. You will transform raw data into cohesive, valuable reports capturing meaningful business insights.
Experience Level: Level 3 (7+ yrs) relevant years of exp is 7 years
Must Have Skills :
7 years is required in all below must have skill set
• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
• Data manipulation and extraction in SQL
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
Nice to Haves:
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
